Heartcore - Au/Ra [VINYL]

'heartcore' is the debut album from alt-pop visionary Au/Ra. Recorded between London and Los Angeles, blending ethereal pop, electronica, 8-bit hyperpop and alt-rock, Au/Ra describes the 16-track opus as 'a concept album where I open the dungeon of my mind for listeners to climb inside. I created a character to help me process the real-life trauma of my girlhood, and how I healed from putting all my self-worth into being an artist.' Featuring the singles 'KILLSWITCH', 'CRACK!', 'HIGH FANTASY' and 'SWAMP', each song is a step further into a shifting labyrinth; an illuminating portal into her character's descent and eventual rehabilitation.
